11th annual Give FFA Day is helping local FFA chapter funding

The National FFA Foundation is helping strengthen FFA chapters nationwide through Give FFA Day.

Kristy Meyer with the National FFA Organization says all donations directly benefit the organization.

“When someone donates, they can indicate if they want it to go to their local chapter, to their state, or nationally,” she says. “These donations help fund the programs that we know make the difference in the lives of our members.

She tells Brownfield the foundation accepts donations year-round and encourages ongoing contributions.

“We have a couple of different programs you can also make donations to,” she says. “One of which is Give the Gift of Blue, which helps fund those iconic blue jackets that our members wear. Another one is called Chapter Boost, which helps local chapters complete individual projects in their schools.”

The organization has a goal of raising more than $1.75 million during the 11^th annual event.
