79% of Ohio corn, 66% of soybeans rated good to excellent 

The USDA says rainfall aided the crop last week in Ohio.  

Seventy-nine percent of the state’s corn crop is rated good to excellent, with 79 percent at the dough making stage, and 30 percent dented.

76 percent of soybeans are rated good to excellent with 90 percent at the pod setting stage.

Sixty-six percent of pastures and rangelands are in good to excellent shape.
