98th annual National FFA Convention and Expo breaks attendance record
The 98th annual National FFA Convention and Expo has broken its all-time attendance record with more than 73,000 FFA members and guests participating in the event.
Three thousand volunteers took part in this year’s National Days of Service. Students and advisors joined 28 different service projects throughout the greater-Indianapolis area and donated more than 1,500 paracord leashes to IndyHumane.
A record number of American FFA Degrees were also awarded, with 5,162 students taking home the organization’s highest honor.
The convention generated $41 million to its host city and the state of Indiana.
