Additional administration appointments announced

On Wednesday Governor-elect Mike Pence and Lt. Governor-elect Sue Ellspermann announced more leadership positions within their administration.

Rob Carter will continue to serve as the Director of the Department of Natural Resources.  Carter has held that position since 2006.  Pence says Carter has brought efficiency and accountability to the DNR and he is pleased that he will continue to lead Indiana’s efforts to steward its outstanding natural resources. 

Dax Norton has been named the head of Community and Rural Affairs.  Of his appointment, Lt. Governor-elect Ellspermann says he “understands that economic development in rural communities is driven by strong community development.”  Norton has experience in economic development and has been a small business owner.  She says his experience in both will be a great asset to OCRA.
