Agriculture under attack
A Washington, D.C.-based public relations expert says agriculture in America is under a well-funded attack.
Jack Hubbard, owner of Berman and Company, says groups like HSHS (Humane Society of the US) and ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) have a singular mission.
“They wake up every single morning and they want to put people in agriculture out of business.” He says, “They want this to be the last generation. That the farm doesn’t get passed down in the next because they have a moral objection to what folks are doing.”

“The Humane Society of the United States, according to their tax returns, give 1% of their budget to local pet shelters.” He says, “The ASPCA. You see their ads. They raised over $300 million last year and they run one pet shelter.”
Hubbard says the funds are primarily used to sway public opinion and fund lobbying efforts on both sides of the aisle at state and federal levels of government.
I think it’s time to do away with farmers. We really don’t need them anymore. We have all kinds of grocery stores where we can always get our food. Farmers make smells and hold up traffic with their slow equipment on the roads. They have out lived their usefulness.
