American Egg Board teams up with The Incredibles
The American Egg Board has teamed up with Disney Pixar’s Incredibles 2 in a new marketing campaign.
Marc Dresner with the American Egg Board says it was a natural fit with the board’s existing “incredible, edible egg” tagline.
“The Incredible Egg shares the Incredible moniker so there’s a lot of equity obviously to be gained in having that moniker, but the folks at Disney Pixar also thought that the film’s message around family and everyday heroics align quite well with the Incredible Egg,” he says.
The campaign includes custom recipes and a commercial with The Incredibles.
“We basically extended the ‘how do you like your eggs’ brand platform to Incredibles 2 and now each of them has their own custom recipe,” he says.
Dresner says the campaign is an example of commodity promotion and research programs using popular media to raise awareness for ag products.
