BASF introduces new fungicide seed treatment

Troy Bauer, Field Technical Representative for the Seed Treatment Group with BASF, tells Brownfield seed treatments are an integral part of a cropping system as growers try to maximize yield and profitability.

Bauer said BASF has some great seed treatments.  ILEVO is a tried and true product that has been in growers’ fields for 5 years.  This year, BASF is launching Obvius Plus, a new broad spectrum fungicide seed treatment that protects against key seedling diseases and cold tolerance.

Obvius Plus is being launched in September for the 2020 growing season. 

Bauer tells Brownfield BASF is number one in the seed treatment space.  He said the company will continue to provide innovation and better products for growers to be able to maximize profitability.
