Beck’s Hybrids launches free digital tool to deliver customized product recommendations
Beck’s Hybrids has launched a new digital tool to help farmers make informed decisions about their product selections for 2026.
Jim Schwartz, director of research, agronomy, and PFR, says SeedIQ is a free database where producers can input last year’s harvest data to customize recommendations to match their needs.
“The program sorts through that mountain of information and data we’ve given it and it gives recommendations for three different products,” he says. “It explains it in a conversational format and present all of the information that the grower.”
He tells Brownfield the first of its kind platform uses artificial intelligence to sort through the company’s database.
“There’s a lot of AI that will continue to be integrated into agriculture,” he says. “I think it’s really exciting for the future of agriculture because it will unlock new understandings and it will look at data differently to help us have deeper understandings about these topics.”
Schwartz says utilizing tools to help with product selection can help farmers better manage risk ahead of the upcoming growing season.
