Best of the Buckeye scholarship deadline

To help provide financial assistance to youth ages 8 to 21 interested in getting involved in the Ohio Cattlemen’s Association (OCA) Best of the Buckeye program, twenty $500 scholarships will be awarded.

“We encourage 4-H Extension educators, FFA advisors to nominate youth or encourage those youth to apply on their own, as to why they would be deserving of the scholarship,” said Stephanie Sindel, BEST program coordinator. “It is open to all ages, 8 to 21 and it’s awarded on an as needed basis and then awarded right after they participate in their first Best of Buckeye show.”

Scholarship applications can be found here. The deadline to apply is Thursday, January 15.
