Boehm stepping down from roles at University of Nebraska IANR
The University of Nebraska has announced a leadership change within the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources (IANR).
Mike Boehm, who has served in the dual role as vice chancellor and vice president for agriculture and natural resources since 2017, is stepping down from those positions at the end of the spring semester. The university says he will return to a faculty role in the Department of Plant Pathology.
UNL Chancellor Rodney Bennett says Boehm has helped enhance IANR’s national reputation in agricultural education, research and extension and says Boehm made significant contributions to the growth and innovation of Nebraska’s agricultural and natural resources sector.
Tiffany Heng-Moss will succeed Boehm as interim director starting June 1. She has served as dean of the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources since 2019.
