Buyers’ market continues for used farm machinery

An equipment auction specialist says it continues to be a buyers’ market for used farm machinery.

“There has been a downtrend in some places but it is something that as stuff is coming to market whether it’s from dealers or the local farmers or whatever, there is a ready supply of equipment,” he says.

Wiese says buyers are looking for good quality.  

“Even though there could be soft spots here and there, that has become a norm in areas, if the seller has a good product and has taken care of it, and he has the work history to back it up, there is all kinds of demand for that,” he says.
