Channel Seedsman valued partner in challenging year
The benefits of having a partner’s input and support was made clear in the 2019 crop season. Brock Helgerson, Channel Brand Marketing Lead tells Brownfield there was great value in having a Channel Seedsman working as a partner with farmers during this tough year. From delivering seed to the planter in the field to keep the planter going during a break in weather, to scouting for insect and disease problems, the seedsman works as a partner with the farmer.
“Yield is the big driver – the end game,” said Helgerson,”and a Channel seedsman helps farmers every step of the way.”
Helgerson said there were lessons learned in 2019, but but also some things just to put behind you. Looking forward, he tells Brownfield a Channel seedsman can be a partner to help look back not only at 2019, but to 2 years ago to help you make your planning decisions for 2020.
Helgerson tells Brownfield Channel offers “Expert advice and customized service.”
