Cheese growth program holds promise
An Iowa dairy farmer says he’s excited about new partnerships being formed to support cheese sales.
Doug Carroll tells Brownfield the dairy checkoff has created a new cheese growth program partnering with Domino’s.
“They’re working in collaboration together to promote U.S. cheese in the United States and abroad, and it could affect almost 10 million pounds of cheese,” he shares.
Dairy Management Inc says an international company has switched from sourcing cheese from other countries to exclusively the U.S. as a supplier as part of the program.
Carroll is a member of the National Dairy Promotions and Research Board.
