CLAAS announces new partnerships for service, distribution

CLAAS has announced new partner agreements with companies in Missouri and Wisconsin, following the closure of some Ziegler Ag stores.

Daryl Theis tells Brownfield an agreement has been reached with Parallel Ag to provide parts and service for CLAAS combines in central Missouri.

“Our urgency is paramount in terms of taking care of customers,” he says. “Parts and service with existing customers is priority number one, even so much that we’ve set aside even thinking about selling machines cause we’ve got to take care of existing customers.”

CLAAS has partnered with Lindstrom Equipment in Wisconsin. He says the company is also standing up two retail stores of its own in Iowa.

“We’ve got a store that’s up and going in Le Mars, Iowa, and then we’re also looking at a second location in that North Central Iowa area,” he says.

The specific location hasn’t yet been determined.

Theis says a priority is finding qualified service technicians to help its customers.

“Because they might need to get one or two more years out of that machine than maybe they were planning,” he says.

Brownfield interviewed Theis during the 2024 Farm Progress Show.
