Coca Cola creates dairy advisory council

Coca Cola has announced it will create an International Dairy Advisory Council as part of its ongoing efforts to improve animal welfare after abuse was reported at Fair Oaks Farms.

The maker of fairlife says the council will create science-based standards from industry and animal welfare experts.  They also want greater oversight of its dairy supply chain to ensure the welfare of animals and employees as well as food safety.

Fairlife has discontinued use of milk from Fair Oaks Farms and conducted third-party audits on all supplying farms which found no evidence of animal cruelty or abuse.
