Concerns about inputs ahead of planting

The president of the Missouri Corn Growers Association says he’s concerned about growers getting what they need to plant amid the coronavirus outbreak. Mike Moreland tells Brownfield Ag News, “We’re worried right now with planting coming up on supplies. You know, are we going to get our inputs in a timely fashion? Fertilizer, seed, fuel.

In much of Missouri, the ground is still too wet to plant, “This is going to take a big rush and when things do happen to dry out, it’s going to be full speed ahead and so we’re kind of concerned about that.”
