Cong. Gibbs hosts Congressional Ag Forum

Ohio Congressman Bob Gibbs hosted a Congressional Agriculture Forum in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, March 18.

The forum was held during the first day of the Ohio Farm Bureau’s County Presidents Trip.

“I try to get some chairmen of certain committees that I thought pertain to some of the issues that County Farm Bureau Presidents are interested in,” said Gibbs. “And also geography, to get some people from around the country, I think that helps add perspective.”

Forum speakers included, Speaker of the House John Boehner, Mike Conaway of Texas, Chairman of the House Agriculture Committee, Collin Peterson of Minnesota, Ranking member of the House Agriculture Committee, Congressman Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, Congressman John Shimkus of Illinois and Texas Congressman Bill Flores.
