Corn grower says year-round E15 fix simply allows Americans more fuel choices
A board director with the Minnesota Corn Growers Association says he’ll be extremely disappointed if the U.S. House does not pass nationwide year-round E15 this week.
Nathan Serbus, who grows corn and soybeans in Renville County, tells Brownfield Congress needs to act on E15 as soon as possible.
“I mean this is just a simple, clerical error that we just have to clean up so we can sell (E15). It’s not mandating anybody to buy E15, it’s just allowing people the option.”
If E15 legislation hits another roadblock this week, he says.
“I mean that’s just an uphill battle for everything else.”
The House is expected to vote on a stand alone E15 bill Wednesday afternoon.
