Corn harvest is making good progress while soybean harvest begins in Missouri.

USDA says 13% of the state’s corn harvest is complete, an increase of 8 percentage points from the previous week. Only 2% of the state’s soybeans have been harvested, with most soybeans changing color or dropping leaves.

Rice harvest continues with the crop 28% harvested, well ahead of average. USDA says 44% of cotton bolls are opening, also ahead of average.
