Corteva announces non-GMO wheat hybrid

Corteva has announced a first-of-its kind, proprietary non-GMO wheat hybrid.

The company says the hybrid wheat technology could increase yield potential by ten percent, as well as be more resistant to drought.  It’s also expected to accelerate the speed to market of new elite germplasm.

Corteva plans to launch hybrid Hard Red Winter wheat as early as 2027 in North America.
