Crop health and fungicide strategy key to 2025 harvest success
The 2025 growing season has been challenging for many farmers across the Corn Belt. From weed pressure to disease challenges, Blake Miller, agronomic service representative for Syngenta, says farmers have seen a little bit of everything this year.
He tells Brownfield that strategic fungicide decisions have been crucial to maximizing yield preservation. Growers have been navigating a lot of disease pressure, and making sure farmers have also been considering crop health could make a difference at harvest.
Miller says farmers also need to think about weed control and stresses the importance of starting early.
