CWT assists large butter & cheese export sales

Cooperatives Working Together is helping with another large export purchase.

A total of 17 orders totaling more than a thousand metric tons of Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese and 100 metric tons of butter will be sent to Africa, Asia, and the Middle East between now and the end of June.

The products are coming from the Dairy Farmers of America, Northwest Dairy Association (Darigold), Tillamook County Creamery Association and United Dairymen of Arizona.

CWT pays export assistance to the bidders after delivery of the product is verified and documents are submitted.
