DowDuPont merger makes three in 2019
Officials with DowDuPont expect to split the company into three parts over the next year along with selling as much as 10 percent of its specialty products.
Corteva Agriscience Chief Operating Officer Jim Collins says the company might sell some of its crop seeds to focus on corn, soybeans, wheat and rice as well as some crop-protection chemicals. Those assets are expected to keep the DuPont brand.
By next March the company plans to separate the materials-science business back under the Dow brand. The Corveta and DuPont brands are expected to split by next June.
