Elkhart Co. top cattle county in Indiana

The Indiana field office of the National Ag Statistics Service (NASS) has justcome out with the list of top cattle producing counties in the state.

Elkhart County is the number one county for all cattle, followed by Jasper, Lagrange, Dubois and Washington.

Washington County has taken over the top spot in the number of beefcows, Lawrence County is now second, followed by Dubois, Greene and Harrison.

The top county in number of milk cows is Jasper, followed by Elkhart, Newton, Lagrange and Adams.
