EPA senior advisor Rod Snyder steps down

The Senior Advisor for Agriculture to the Administrator of EPA is stepping down.

Rod Snyder announced his resignation Monday, telling Agri-Pulse he does not have specific plans for his next career move.

House Agriculture Committee Ranking Member David Scott says for nearly two decades, Snyder has kept farmer voices at the table and been a champion for agriculture.

Snyder became a senior advisor at EPA in late 2021 and began his role leading the Office of Agriculture and Rural Affairs earlier this year.
