FFA members flood Indianapolis for 98th annual National FFA Convention

The 98th annual National FFA Convention is officially underway. 

National FFA President Thaddeus Bergschneider of Illinois tells Brownfield this week is an opportunity for members to make an impact.

“Lean into the once in a lifetime to meet people you may never meet again and cherish the opportunity you have to make connections that are far beyond your home chapter and community,” he says.

National Secretary Luke Jennings of Ohio says he’s reflecting on the year of a lifetime. 

“Getting to interact with these individuals and get just a glimpse into their lives, their homes, and their communities is something that I’ve held really close to my heart this year,” he says.

Eastern Region Vice President Caroline Groth of Kentucky says she’s thankful for those that have poured into her year.

Western Region Vice President Abigale Jacobsen of California says FFA has a place for everyone.

Southern Region Vice President Jack Lingenfelter of Georgia says he’s thankful for the opportunity to serve with his teammates.

Central Region Vice President Mary Schreiber of Wisconsin says she’s excited to see members from across the country.

More than 70,000 FFA members from across the country are in Indianapolis this week to develop and advance their leadership skills.

This year’s convention runs through Saturday and will conclude with the installation of the 2025-2026 National FFA officer team.
