FMC Corporation says merger is benefiting farmers

A leader with FMC Corporation says the integration of several DuPont crop protection products has already been beneficial to farmers.

“It made sense for FMC to take this step, acquire these additional products and their R&D pipeline, and continue to offer a broader spectrum of products to our customers,” he says.

John Kasper, FMC’s commercial director for North America, tells Brownfield the acquisition has been well-received.

“The customers have been very positive about this step FMC has taken to acquire products, people, and technology of the DuPont group that was a remedy for the merger of DuPont and Dow,” he says.

DuPont products, libraries, and many staff became part of Philadelphia-based FMC in November.

Kasper spoke with Brownfield at the Commodity Classic in Anaheim.
