Grassley on MAHA report: “a little less strong on pesticides” than he anticipated

U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley tells Brownfield the Make America Healthy Again Commission report was not as critical of crop pesticides as he anticipated.

“It was a little less strong on pesticides as I thought.”

The Iowa Republican says he’s had meetings with Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr to discuss modern agricultural practices.

“And maybe that relaxed approach that he used is some indication he’s listening.”

The MAHA Commission is expected to release a second report in August that outlines policy priorities from last week’s report.
