GROWMARK: Expect adequate propane supplies this fall

The executive vice president for retail at GROWMARK says farmers should have access to plenty of propane this harvest season.

Barry Schmidt tells Brownfield…

“I mean, I know our farmers really hate to invest more in this crop with trying to dry it down.”  He says, “Hopefully we have a dry, warm fall. But that said, there are adequate supplies of propane heading into fall and the winter season.”

He says there’s been above-normal carryover supplies.

“It was a warm winter for us, so we’re down some gallons there,” he says.

Schmidt spoke with Brownfield at a recent field day in western Illinois.
