Growmark to acquire AgraForm

Growmark has announced a letter of intent to acquire St. Louis-based AgraForm.

Wade Mittlestadt, Growmark’s Chief Operating Officer, says the deal allows the company to influence a critical point in the ag value chain and grow its market share.

AgraForm provides bulk formulation, agrichemical processing, spray drying, milling, and other services for chemical manufacturers. The facility also produces and packages insecticides, fungicides, and biological products.

Growmark says the acquisition is expected to close at the end of June. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
