Harvest continues to roll on in Ohio.

According to the latest crop progress and conditions report from the USDA, corn is rated ​40 percent good to excellent with 92 percent mature, 34 percent harvested for grain, and 95 percent harvested for silage. Soybeans are ​rated ​39 percent good to excellent, with 97 percent dropping leaves, and 62 percent harvested.

Winter wheat is 58 percent planted and 18 percent emerged. The fourth cutting of alfalfa is 90 percent complete, and the fourth hay cutting is ​90 percent complete.

Topsoil moisture is 40 ​percent adequate to surplus and subsoil moisture is ​23 percent adequate to surplus.
