Harvest nearing completion in Missouri
The USDA says harvest is nearing completion in Missouri.
The latest weekly crop progress and conditions report shows 95% of the state’s corn is harvested, up 2% from last week, and just behind average pace.
Ninety three percent of Missouri soybeans are harvested, which is up 3% from last week, and 2% behind average.
Cotton harvested is at 95%, up 1% on the week, and 2% behind average.
Winter wheat planting is 92% complete with 77% emerged, and 72% in good to excellent condition.
Hay supplies are 91% adequate to surplus, and 92% of Missouri topsoil moisture was adequate to surplus as of Sunday.
