The National 4-H Council’s Beyond Ready initiative is helping Indiana 4-H members prepare for future careers in agriculture.
Montgomery County 4-H member Kylee Reeves was one of 20 high schoolers recently recognized during 4-H Signing Day.
“4-H is where I found my passion for service and where I really started to get involved with a lot of the individual leadership programs through the program,” she says.
She tells Brownfield her 4-H experience has given her a strong foundation for the future.
“I feel like I’ve grown much more as a leader,” she says. “I feel like I’ve grown in my life skills and honestly, I’ve really been strengthened within my community with the connections that I’ve built throughout my own county and throughout the state.”
The National 4-H Council’s Beyond Ready initiative provides career readiness and professional development activities for students.
