Indiana elects new FFA State Officers
The 82nd Indiana FFA State Convention wrapped up this week and Wednesday evening delegates elected their new state officer team. Casie Conley, a 2011 graduate of Knightstown High School will serve as 2011-12 State President. Joining Conley on this year’s officer team: elected to serve as Secretary: Sarah Correll of North Miami; Rachel Schmitt of Tipton will serve as North Region VP; Jacob Mattox of South Decatur was elected South Region VP, Treasurer: Gianna Hartman of Warsaw; Ross Newton of Hoosier Hills will serve as Reporter and newly elected Sentinel Travis Olinske of Carroll at Ft. Wayne rounds out the officer team.
Each officer will put their collegiate career on hold for a year as they serve the Indiana FFA, traveling around the state visiting FFA Chapters, conducting workshops and representing Indiana members promoting agriculture.
