Indiana Farm Bureau remains committed to the future of the ag industry
The president of Indiana Farm Bureau says the organization remains committed to investing in the future of the ag industry.
Randy Kron says ag youth programming remains a top priority.
“That’s our future leaders and we can help lift them up to give them some leadership skills,” he says. “They learn a lot through raising livestock. It teaches them to have a good work ethic and understanding the importance of what they do to provide good stewardship of animals.”
He tells Brownfield members volunteer in various 4-H and FFA events during the state fair.
“When you walk around here, we’ve got members almost everywhere you go, doing different things in the livestock barns,” he says. “We work together; that is Farm Bureau.”
The 2025 Indiana State Fair wraps up on August 17th.
