Indiana FFA’s newly elected state president says she’s looking forward to helping the organization grow throughout the next year.
Kaitlyn Maruszewski from the Tri-Central FFA chapter says she hopes to inspire members across the state.
“Keep taking every opportunity you can and when the opportunities aren’t coming your way, go create them,” she says. “That’s something that I’ve had to learn is that when opportunities aren’t there for you, you have to go out and make them for yourself.”

State reporter Jenna Lawler says her community encouraged her to run for state office.
“I come from a chapter that has been very blessed to have a lot of past state officers and seeing the impact they were able to leave and how they grew as a person really inspired me to consider that option,” she says. “I’m very grateful for this opportunity.”
