Indiana FFA State President says the FFA pavilion has something for everyone
The Indiana FFA State President says the Indiana FFA Pavilion is an opportunity to connect consumers with the ag industry.
Ethan Wolheter says fairgoers can learn about different areas of agriculture.
“There’s some cool opportunities like an ag mech corner where they can learn more about the agricultural mechanics side or Corteva, one of our sponsors of this FFA Pavilion, has a corner where you can do different science experiments, like making your own putty,” he says.
Wolheter has an ag background, and talking about the ag industry is second nature.
“The industry touches everybody’s lives,” he says. “A matter of fact, three times a day when it comes to food and everyone is affected by it. That’s such a cool thing that needs to be supported and understood a little bit more.”
The Indiana State Fair runs through August 18th.
