Indiana Lt. Governor highlights importance of Ag during field days
Indiana Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch says she understands the important role farmers play to the state’s economy. She spoke with farmers during a recent harvest clinic in central Indiana and thanked them for their efforts to make Indiana a global leader of agriculture.
Crouch says farmers are an “important and critical part of Indiana.” The state’s agriculture industry contributes $31 billion to the state’s economy.
She tells Brownfield that her favorite part of attending field days is meeting farmers.
Crouch was the keynote speaker during the harvest clinic at Reynolds Farm Equipment. She also attended Ceres Solutions’ Knowledge event in western Indiana this week.
As Lt. Governor, Crouch also serves as Indiana’s Secretary of Agriculture.
