Indiana State Fair Coliseum bearing new name in 2025 

The coliseum at the Indiana State Fair is getting a new name. 

Heidi Spahn, the global community investment manager, says naming it the Corteva Coliseum represents company’s commitment to the Indiana ag industry. 

“Putting our name on the coliseum that gets used year-round for numerous events brings more light to who we are,” she says. “Part of that was us having our headquarters right here in Indiana. This is where we call home and we are proud to have our name on the coliseum.”

Don Lamb, director of the Indiana State Department of Agriculture, says the venue is a focal point of the state fair. 

“I think about the shows that will happen over there and those 4-H kids that work hard all year just to bring an animal in there and show it,” he says. “Then we’re going to have that championship drive and to me, when you say the Corteva Coliseum is the home to the championship drive, that’s kind of what agriculture is all about.”

Various 4-H livestock shows, and other events are held at the Corteva Coliseum during the state fair. Those include the Grand Drive, Supreme Drive, and the Celebration of Champions. 

The 2025 Indiana State Fair opened Friday, August 1st and runs through August 17th.
