Indiana wheat off to great start

Heavy rain across the Hoosier state last week set back fieldwork.

The USDA says 73 percent of soils have adequate or surplus moisture.

Winter wheat remains ahead of last year with 74 percent of the crop rated good to excellent and 11 percent jointed.

Indiana tree fruit growers are concerned about potential freeze damage.
