Iowa-based Asmus Farm Supply 2017 Ag Retailer

A family-owned farm supply company in Iowa has been named the 2017 Retailer of the Year by the Agricultural Retailers Association.

Asmus Farm Supply of Rake, Iowa is led by second-generation owners Harlan and Amy Asmus. The couple has expanded the business to five locations, serving corn and soybean farmers in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska and South Dakota. The company was started by Harlan’s late father, Harvey, in the 1950s.
