Johnson announces retirement from United Sorghum Checkoff

The executive director of the United Sorghum Checkoff says she will retire at the end of the year.

Norma Ritz Johnson has served in the role since 2021. She will continue to serve as executive director through the end of the year, supporting a transition.

The Board of Directors says they have formed a search committee to identify the next executive director of the organization.

The United Sorghum Checkoff is a producer-led organization focused on sorghum research, promotion and education.
