Judge Stephen Alexander Vaden sworn in as next Deputy Secretary of Agriculture
Judge Stephen Alexander Vaden has been sworn in as the next Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
The Union City, Tennessee native will join Ag Secretary Brooke Rollins to execute food and agriculture policy.
Judge Vaden most recently served on the U.S. Court of International Trade and was the former General Council for the USDA under the first Trump administration. Vaden’s nomination was approved by the U.S. Senate last week by a vote of 51 to 44.
