Kansas water conservation pilot program accepting applications
The Kansas Department of Agriculture is accepting applications for the Kansas Livestock Water Efficiency Pilot Project.
The initiative encourages water conservation by assisting commercial feedlots and dairy operations with livestock water efficiency technology access cost share assistance and incentive payments through the State Water Fund.
The application period is open through July 31. Equipment purchases and subscriptions made before application approval by KDA’s Division of Conservation aren’t eligible.
Applicants must hold a current livestock water right to participate.
