MFA Incorporated acquiring four ADM grain facilities

MFA Incorporated, a farmer cooperative in Missouri, has entered into an agreement to acquire four ADM grain elevators in the state: Montgomery City, Center, Novelty and Shelbina.

Those country grain elevators represent six million bushels of licensed grain storage capacity, and MFA says it will expand access to delivery points and improve grain handling logistics.

MFA says it intends to honor existing grain contracts at the acquired facilities, subject to customary reviews and applicable terms and conditions. Operations at each facility are expected to continue as normal following the closing of the agreement.

The transaction is expected to close later this summer, subject to closing conditions and due diligence reviews. Read more.
