Michigan 4-H endowment will provide lasting investment for dairy youth
The Michigan 4-H Foundation has established a new endowment to support dairy youth leaders across the state.
Michigan Milk Producers Association’s Joe Diglio tells Brownfield, “Developing better talents and stronger talents within the next generation of leaders is critically important.”
Diglio was recently named the 2025 Robert B. Engel Farmer Co-op Manager of the Year by the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives and was able to pick a charity of his choice to support as part of the recognition.
“I am excited about this,” Diglio shares. “I’m honored to be part of an industry that gives back to the community in so many ways.”
The MMPA Board of Directors voted to match the donation with additional funds through CoBank’s Sharing Success program, creating the permanent Joseph M. Diglio 4-H Dairy Youth Endowment.
