Minnesota FFA fundraiser provides 42 jackets to new members

Many state associations are fundraising during National FFA Week.

In Minnesota, FFA Foundation director Val Aarsvold says current and former members took to social media to raise awareness and generate money during Give FFA Day.

“We were getting some initial sponsorships for our Blue Jacket-Bright Future campaign. We’ll award those jackets in the fall (like) we’ve done for many years. But (Tuesday) we were able to sponsor 42 jackets for new members in the FFA.”

She tells Brownfield more than $3,500 dollars was raised Tuesday.
