Missouri Ag Director Chinn speaks to FFA members
The Missouri Director of Agriculture says the ability to lead is within many young people. Chris Chinn – speaking at Thursday’s opening session of the Missouri FFA Convention in Columbia – tells Brownfield youth ag groups are her favorites. She says she’s talking about not needing a title to be a leader in agriculture.
“I’m going to share with the kids some of the things I’ve learned as being the director of agriculture over the last year,” said Chinn, “so that hopefully they take my experiences and build off of what I’ve learned in the last year to work better in their FFA chapters and in their rural communities.”
The 90th Missouri FFA Convention concludes Friday evening.
