Missouri Ag Director heads to Panama to expand trade opportunities
Missouri Ag Director Chris Chinn is joining Governor Mike Kehoe on a trade trip to Panama next week.
The governor’s office says a delegation of state leaders will focus on attracting future investment from prospective companies and promote Missouri for trade.
Panama is already a trading partner with Missouri, with one of the top exports being food products. In a statement, Chinn says the country is an emerging market and offers tremendous potential for Missouri producers of both raw and value-added products.
The trade trip starts August 5 and wraps up August 8.
