Missouri agriculture effort delivers 15,000 meals through Drive to Feed Kids

Missouri lawmakers, along with Governor and First Lady Kehoe, packed 15,000 meals for food insecure Missourians last week.

Mike Kehoe tells Brownfield “the need in Missouri is real. Hunger is real and we can do our part through our agriculture friends to help solve the need.”

The event was part of the Missouri Farmers Care Foundation’s Drive to Feed Kids, which has a goal to raise awareness and address hunger in Missouri.

One in seven Missouri children are food insecure, and over the last decade, Missouri agriculture has donated more than 13.7 million meals across the state.
